They ensure a high adhesive strength and are characterised by excellent lubrication and slide properties, which prevents from the stick slip effect. The sliding film also guarantees excellent corrosion protection and will not be washed away by aqueous solutions such as metal working fluids (drilling-, cutting-, and grinding emulsions).
